Gateway Courses

In order to encourage high school students to reach out to universities in advance and help them to adapt to university courses and life after high school graduation, Tzu Chi University has set up “prerequisite” courses. Each of those courses has at least 16 credits, of which the Chinese language course for overseas students is compulsory. The grades of the courses must reach 60 points or more before students can apply for credits after becoming a formal degree student of the school. After completing the “prerequisite” courses for one semester, students can apply for the spring or autumn classes of the school according to this method.
