Tzu Chi University is located at the heart of Hualien city, allowing easy access to various important locations such as the Hualien train station (1 km), Hualien city center (2 km), and Hualien airport (5 km). Our campus is located next to Hualien Tzu Chi hospital, allowing easy access for students who need medical consultation. (There is a special discount for TCU students who consult medical professionals at Tzu Chi hospital as well as a free admission fee.) Access to the capital city, Taipei, is also very convenient. With 3 hours of journey time, local trains are always available throughout the week to take. Hualien county is located in between the mountain and the sea, creating beautiful scenery and a refreshing learning environment.
