Transfer Students

Q:Can I transfer from Ryukyu University ( Japan ) to Tzu Chi University?

Although it is possible to deal with the problem of transfer, it is not recommended. The reason is that the transfer exam is too difficult. If you really intend to take the transfer exam, the premise is that you must be good at Chinese (to the same level as JLPT N1). Then, with local students, you will take an examination of subjects such as Japanese (Chinese), English, science, and math in Chinese.

Therefore, the most recommended method is to enroll as a new student by recruiting international students from our school. It is easiest to apply by recruiting international students from our school. All you have to do is send us your grade-related materials and you don’t have to take any entrance exams. Ryukyu University grades can be transferred to some extent in the case of a department.

Documents Verification

Q:What should I do after receiving a confirmation letter from Tzu Chi University?

First of all, you need to verify your Documents. It’s best for you to get both a Transcript & Diploma Certificate legalized by the Taipei Embassy in your country right after you receive the Admission Letter from school as you need to provide it to the school to complete and finalize your registration process.

If you do not complete the whole registration process including payment and legalized documents upload, your admission to TCU may be counted as incomplete. On the other hand, if you complete the whole registration process, you may also start applying for a Visa.

Yes. You should bring the legalized documents while departing to Taiwan and even though you have provided us the soft copy of it, you still need to provide us the paper-based hard copy directly to the school Academic Office in order to obtain your Student Card.
