Department Introduction
The department is committed to integrating information technology into the healthcare system to enhance healthcare quality and efficiency. We focus on the interdisciplinary study of information and biomedicine, with information technology as the foundation, and biomedical applications as the goal. The curriculum contains three programs, namely hospital information systems, healthcare technology, and bioinformatics, with equal emphasis on theory and practice.
Programming capability is the most important goal for our students. Professional courses are actually practiced in classes to enhance their programming skills. The department also works with business organizations and healthcare institutions to assist students in engaging in research projects and receiving internship training.
