Department of Medical Informatics

Master’s Degree

Department Introduction

The department is committed to integrating information technology into the healthcare system to enhance quality and efficiency. We focus on the interdisciplinary study of informatics and biomedicine, with information technology as the foundation and biomedical applications as the goal. The curriculum contains three programs, namely hospital information systems, healthcare technology, and bioinformatics, with equal emphasis on theory and practice.

Programming capability is the core ability of our students. They learn how to code in programming courses. The department also cooperates with companies and hospitals to engage students in research projects. Students who have completed their graduation projects can apply for internship training. Through this training, they can experience the workplace and have ideas about their future careers.
