1a. Understands and exercises skills to practically exercise theories of social work;
1b. Understands and exercises research methods.
2a. Possesses the practical advanced social work abilities with issues of children and families, multiculturalism and international assistance, and health care;
2b. Possesses abilities to analyze problems and needs in the service area and improve the ability to criticize, innovate and advocate solutions
3a. Possesses administrative knowledge in social work and organizational leadership;
3b. Uses supervisory techniques and capabilities in social work practices.

Social Work Theory and Practice (3 credits); Seminar on Program Design and Evaluation (3 credits); Social Work Practice (2 credits); Seminar (2 credits); and either Qualitative Research (3 credits) or Social Statistics (3 credits)
